Dear husband of my patient,

You seemed like a nice guy, good sense of humor, but I would like to take this moment to inform you of when an April fool's joke is funny and when it is not.

When I'm checking bands with you and your wife and your baby to make sure they all match so that you can go home, it is not the time to tell me they don't.

I will not remember that it is April 1st and I will have a heart attack. Because believe me when I say, it is not funny. At all.
